Terms + FAQ

Thank you for choosing to work with me. It’s incredibly humbling that I get the pleasure to work with customers all across the gamut who trust me to craft designs worthy of showcasing.

As the artist who is conducting your service, I want to ensure that both artist and customer are understanding of addressing any implications that may arise. Please shoot a general inquiry message if you have any questions regarding working with me.

By choosing to work with me, you agree to the terms of use as defined below.

Terms

  • Upon agreement of the design, typically the process goes as follows:

    1. Design inquiry and discussion
    2. Define cost and deadlines
    3. Deposit is sent
    4. Work begins
    5. Draft or final design is sent
    6. Client is satisfied and final design is sent via email or Google Drive

Due to the nature of my work, I try to complete my work as fast as I can fit into my schedule, which oftentimes includes me working on multiple projects at once — sometimes, a design can take up to 4 weeks for completion.

I understand that sometimes life happens and you need your design in a pinch — If you are needing a design done very quickly, a rush charge will be applied due to your work needing to skip the queue of others waiting for their designs.

Please understand that this is a one-man operation in charge of the entire process, from contact to completion. Rest assured, I strive to work as quickly as possible to make sure the client is happy.

And lastly, I reserve the right to refuse service or engagement, including refusing any design or general inquiry.
I hate to explicitly mention this, but I tolerate zero harassment or exploitation — if you are having any issue with your design, please contact me and we will reach an agreement.

  • The client reserves the right to request up to two (2) edits not exceeding complete and total design changes as initially discussed. If design edits exceed two, an edit charge may be applied to satisfy this.

Due to the imperfect and sometimes unpredictable nature of manual manipulation/Xeroxing, certain edits will not look the same as before.

In the event that the customer isn’t satisfied with the design at all or a resolution cannot be reached, a defined ultimatum regarding cost and final product between the artist and client will need to be discussed and respected in writing (email).

To avoid this, please view my work, and decide that you choose to work with me based off of what I am capable of crafting for you. I am also more than happy to refer you to another artist who could take on your request.

  • Typically, I send my designs as 300DPI and flat PNG file formats. If you or your printer needs a specific file type or format, email me. If you need transparency for your design, please email me.

  • A half down deposit is due at the time of agreement to secure your spot. The rest of the agreed upon amount is due immediately upon completion the day of the completed design unless another option is discussed or agreed upon.

I primarily and will prefer to use Stripe to conduct transactions — both deposits and final balances will be processed through Stripe. If you cannot use Stripe or are having issues, please let me know.

In the event that a client does not pay in full for their design after the completion of art, I reserve the right to keep the deposit in full, and revoke the final design or any of its edits to you, and reserve the copyright for all aforementioned. Though rare, I will choose to also not work with you in the future if this happens.

If you are needing a copy of a formal invoice, please let me know.

FAQ

  • Due to the nature of me being a one-man operation, I genuinely appreciate work that’s given outside of a rushed setting. Ideally, I love accepting projects with a healthy timeline, though I completely understand when things don’t go as anticipated.

Typically, I will charge a rush fee if you are needing something in a pinch due to pushing your project in the front of the queue. Otherwise, my turnaround varies on how loaded I am with projects. Shoot me a message and we can talk.

  • Just ask! If you need me to share any documents with your editor or printer, let me know their email address and I can also forward them a Google Drive link if necessary.

  • I reserve the copyrights to all of my designs unless explicitly stated in writing or contract format of a rights transfer to the new owner.

Rights to an image are separate than the design itself. Unless explicitly noted in writing, all design costs do not include rights or ownership —rights to an image vary in cost per design. If you would like to own the rights to your image, please email me.
